U.S. Hasn’t ‘Learned All the Right Lessons’ from the Mortgage Crisis

Edward DeMarco, visiting professor of management at the Owen Graduate School of Management and former acting director of the Federal Housing Finance Administration, the new agency responsible for the caretaking of the mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, is concerned that the U.S. government learned the wrong lessons from the housing crisis.
