Vital Improvement: The Roles of Innovation, Regulation, and Securitization

The 2000s marked an active decade in the world of finance with technology and automation playing major roles. With the rise of electronic commerce and the emphasis on the need for government regulation and securitization, FMRC conferences analyzed these important issues, all the while commenting on the behavior, quality, structure of the markets themselves. 

Halfway through the decade, much of these topics culminated into a celebration in honor of Hans Stoll, founding director of the FMRC and pioneer in the world of finance, and his contributions to the field.
